Are daily tasks around the house becoming more challenging? When living independently is no longer what's best, it’s time to consider moving into a reputable assisted living community.

But how will you pay for that extra help? How does assisted living work financially? Does insurance help pay for assisted living?

These are questions that overwhelm and concern many seniors every day.

At Grace Woods, you have options, and you have us every step of the way.

Payment Programs We Will Help You Navigate

VA Aide and Attendance Benefits

VA Aid and Attendance provides a substantial monthly payment on top of existing VA pensions for eligible veterans and surviving spouses. This supplemental income is added to the VA Pension or Survivors Pension to help cover the cost of long-term senior care.

Assisted Living Waiver

Ohio's Assisted Living Waiver Program pays the costs of care in a participating assisted living facility for eligible people with Medicaid, allowing the consumer to use his or her resources to cover "room and board" expenses.

Private Pay

Private pay essentially means you get a bill each month and you write a check for the cost of care and services. The money may come from personal savings or assets from either the aging adult or their children.

Let's have a conversation! We're standing by ready to answer

your questions, assess your needs, and discuss your options.
